When we head a certain call
When the world must come together as one
There are people dying
And it's time to lend a hand to life
The greatest gift of all
We can't go on
Pretending day by day
That someone, somewhere will soon make a change
We are all a part of
God's great big family
And the truth, you know love is all we need
Send them your heart
So they'll know that someone cares
And their lives will be stronger and free
As God has shown us by turning stone to bread
So we all must lend a helping hand
When you're down and out

We must remember when we look at someone else, everybody has something going on that we don't know about or understand. It may cause them to do things that we don't understand. For she who is not painted, nor he who has not sinned of bigotry: should we take it upon ourselves to be judge and jury? A gentile voice who sang for us, sang our praises and danced his way into our hearts, has gone too soon.
