Junjaweed

The name resounds

From towers from cant

From camel back.

The Koran aflame

In blood red deed.

With the blasphemer’s

Name of Junjaweed.

‘Allah Akbar’

'God is Great'

The name that opens the gate

And poisons  the wells of Hell.

'Allah Akbar'

Behind the killing shields

"God is Great' in the ashen fields

Of Darfur.

‘Allah Akbar’

With blade and gun

Harvest the running mother

Murder her defending brother.

Hack the crying child,

Burn the humble hut,

Rape, destroy

Bringing death in the calling wild.

The divine sky

Over desert sands

Condems

The bloody hands of Junaweed.

Muhammad, Abraham’s light

Rise to fight

Islam’s  slight.

Where is your justice

Prophet of the 'One'?

Junjaweed

Killers of hate

Wait a  fate

That strikes you down

Banished from  Paradise

Wandering dead

Heed the wise,

You who defile  ‘Allah Akbar’.
